Our story

An extension of a career spent building mid-Michigan.

While established in early 2011, Lurvey Construction was created as an extension of the services Dave Lurvey had provided his entire career in leadership and ownership roles with some of mid-Michigan's largest construction companies.

Today we are a full-service company, handling construction management, general contracting, preconstruction, design-build, historic restoration, and green building, with the financial capacity for large-scale delivery and the boutique attention owners remember. Everything we build is WELLBUILT, on schedule and on budget.

Leads finance and administration since 2015, bringing disciplined cost control and transparency to every owner relationship.

Chad Jones

Vice President & Field Operations

Directs field operations since the company's founding in 2011, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule certainty on every jobsite.

Mike Draper

Vice President, Project Management

Brings 31 years of construction industry experience to Lurvey's project delivery, leading preconstruction through closeout on the firm's healthcare, institutional, and community projects with a focus on budget discipline, schedule certainty, and owner satisfaction.
